This week we are looking ahead to the big 2012 FIAT Netball Superleague finals on Sunday by looking at the remaining teams, their season so far and their chances of success. Today its the incredible Surrey Storm… Surrey Storm have surprisingly never won the Netball Superleague but have better chance than ever this season. Runners up last season and hot favourites this season, they are the form team going into the latter stages. In the early rounds they lost only to Northern Thunder, winning the other 6 games with big wins over Mavericks and Team Bath. In the second round they have been unstoppable, winning all 6 games including 2 narrow victories over Thunder which could give them the psychological advantage in the finals. Tamsin Greenway’s Surrey Storm will face Team Bath in the semi finals and are strong favourites to make the final. Tomorrow we will look at the holders and outsiders Hertfordshire Mavericks.
